For archiving bidimensional and tridimensional diagnostic images, Ric3D implements customized databases to allow an optimal management of archive data.

In particular, the implemented databases are characterized by flexible search and reporting functions: images can be searched by the patient’s name, the type of diagnosis or the operator of the imaging unit, thus making it easy to create radiology reports to be sent to the IRCCS of reference.

Finally, the acquired CT (computed tomography) scans are integrated into the MED 3D VR LAB software platform for subsequent surgical simulations.
