RIC3D’s Innovative project: Real Organ Generation (ROG)

As an innovative benefit startup specializing in the development of software for medical diagnosis and surgical training, RIC3D will participate in the “Startup Acceleration (Life Sciences & Digital Health)” program with its project ROG (Real Organ Generation).

The highly interactive and responsive software developed by the RIC3D team allows up to four users to operate in a Virtual Room as real surgeons: users can perform virtual surgical simulations using ultra-detailed 3D models of real human organs obtained from patients’ computed tomography (CT) scans, with a particular focus on the heart.

Participation and goals

After successfully completing Phase 1 of the Innovit program – which involved 40 startups and 25 SMEs in online activities such as orientation, needs analysis, mentorship, and tutoring – RIC3D is now ready to tackle Phase 2. This phase includes an intensive acceleration program in Silicon Valley, featuring workshops, mentoring sessions, networking with startups, major tech companies, venture capitalists, and industry experts, along with visits to major tech company headquarters and participation in high-profile events such as Demo Day.

RIC3D’s CEO, Clara Bernasco, alongside CSO Riccardo Roggeri, will travel to the United States to participate in this program. The goal is to accelerate RIC3D’s international growth, guide business strategies through interaction with top mentors, and establish relationships with investors and strategic partners, thereby enhancing RIC3D’s competitiveness and innovation in the Med-Tech field.
