RIC3D, supported by the Techinnova incubator, is delighted to announce its participation in the prestigious AI Summit London 2023. This renowned event, scheduled for June 14th and 15th, 2023, in the capital city of the United Kingdom, is a part of the highly regarded London Tech Week. It serves as a global platform for showcasing cutting-edge innovations and addressing challenges in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
The involvement of RIC3D in the event’s Italian collective, organized by the Italian Trade Agency – ICE, underscores the prominent position our startup has attained within the AI landscape. With the backing of the Techinnova incubator, RIC3D has fostered close collaborations with an extensive network of stakeholders and technological partners, resulting in the development of advanced AI solutions.
During the AI Summit London, the RIC3D team will present two Research and Development projects: ROG and COMMITMENT. These projects, carried out in collaboration with Techinnova’s partner network, have already achieved notable success both domestically and internationally.
ROG (Real Organ Generation) has led to the creation of a highly interactive and responsive software application that enables users to simulate virtual surgeries on organs, including the heart. Through a patented method of generating 3D images of pathological tissues, the software can accurately digitize organs in their actual state and size. By leveraging virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies, ROG allows for precise localization of pathology positions, granting users the opportunity to interact with the organ and engage in virtual surgical simulations. This ambitious project aims to instill greater confidence in the healthcare sector regarding novel technologies, accelerating research, development, and adoption of state-of-the-art solutions to provide more comprehensive and improved care to patients in need.
The COMMITMENT project, an acronym for “Coaching Online Multifunctional Through Traditional Knitwear and Nudge Theory approach,” strives to enhance the well-being of diverse demographics through the development of smart T-shirts equipped with IoT sensors. These sensors continuously monitor individuals’ health conditions and well-being discreetly. By employing traditional knitwear garments, this solution offers an integrated and unobtrusive approach to consistently monitoring physical conditions. Utilizing the “nudge” theory, the project provides personalized support to encourage and guide individuals toward healthier choices and behaviors, thereby improving their overall wellness.
