The 2022 edition of the BIO International Convention in San Diego, the U.S. trade show held June 13-16, 2022, including more than 1,100 companies operating in the biotechnology sector, as well as academic institutions, biotechnology centers and other industry organizations from the United States and more than 30 countries, concluded last Thursday.
During the event, the RIC3D Team-as part of the Italian delegation headed by ICE/ITA (Italian Trade Agency)-had not only the opportunity to explore a wide range of technology solutions and applications related to the life sciences and biotechnology sector, but also the opportunity to participate in important networking sessions including more than 16 thousand participants.
It was within this world-class technology showcase that the Team presented its latest Med-Tech R&D project, ROG (Real Organ Generation), to investors, research and education centers, and others- variously interested in the topic of innovation in the BioTech sector.
In this way, new business opportunities emerged, as well as extraordinary opportunities to evaluate possible future collaboration agreements with foreign counterparts, with a view to Open Innovation and technology transfer.
Ultimately, BIO 2022 proved to be an excellent opportunity for RIC3D to learn about foreign developments in the creation of new production facilities that meet current needs, as well as to build new collaborative relationships in the joint development of future R&D projects.
