RIC3D flies to Birmingham to participate in the next edition of the Med Tech Innovation EXPO. The startup has been selected by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE-ITA) – as part of the promotion of Italian companies and their internationalization – to take part in the upcoming fair to be held on June 8 and 9, 2022.

Med Tech Innovation EXPO is the United Kingdom’s leading event for medical device design and manufacturing technology, establishing itself as an important reference point for life science professionals. The show will take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, the UK’s most significant exhibition venue, encouraging excellent networking opportunities. This event brings together engineers, designers, innovators and manufacturers from across the medical and healthcare industry to explore new ideas, discover upcoming and innovative technologies, products and services for the industry.

In addition to the exhibition section, Med Tech Innovation EXPO offers live demonstrations of next-generation medical solutions and organizes conferences on the most important topics in healthcare technology.

It’s in this context that RIC3D has the opportunity to present its latest project in the Med-Tech field: ROG (Real Organ Generation).

ROG is a software application that allows users to perform a virtual surgery simulation of the heart. Specifically, through a patented method of generating 3D images of pathological tissues, the software is able to digitize the organ in its real state and size. By leveraging Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence technologies, ROG can localize the exact location of pathologies and allows its users to interact with the organ, as well as perform virtual surgical simulation activities.

Digital innovation plays a strategic role in many areas, and healthcare is certainly one of the most fertile grounds where technologies can make a difference. Therefore, RIC3D has chosen to contribute to the future of the industry with its ROG R&D project in order to address one of the major problems in healthcare: the early and inaccurate diagnosis of dangerous heart diseases.

We will therefore find the innovative startup RIC3D at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), in the exhibition space dedicated to the Italian collective: Hall 10, Stand 10-E10.
