RIC3D, supported by the Techinnova incubator, makes a stop in Sicily: it will participate in the seventh edition of BIAT – Borsa dell’Innovazione e dell’Alta Tecnologia, which will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Taormina from 22 to 24 September 2021.
The international event, itinerant in character, has as its objective the enhancement of the innovative potential of business and research of the regions of Southern Italy – Campania, Calabria, Puglia, Sicily, Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Sardinia. In particular, the event aims to promote the marketing and transfer not only of innovative or high-tech products and services, but also of intangible assets – patents in particular – through the meeting between commercial and technological supply and demand with foreign counterparts.
The event is organized by Agenzia ICE as part of the Export South 2 Plan, a program financed with PON-FESR funds aimed at supporting the international projection of companies with operational headquarters in the regions of Southern Italy. And it is precisely in this direction that RIC3D is moving, whose glocal vocation is leading it to undertake with increasing frequency paths of internationalization.
The sectors of interest of the event are:
- Biotechnology;
- Green Economy (circular economy, renewable energy, environment);
- ICT;
- Innovative materials;
- Nanotechnologies;
- Technologies for the Smart City;
- Space Economy.
The BIAT event is therefore proposed to RIC3D as an important opportunity to present to over 100 foreign investors its MED3D project, aimed at the creation of 3D medical mockups of the heart in real size, starting from 2D diagnostic images provided by project partner hospitals.
